This would be a really good program for the revenue but it is so lacking in a large number of locations that it is not usable for me. To start with the manual is written in such broken English it leaves out required actions, but can be figured out as you go.
My largest complaint is with the entry/exist time delay and the secondary essential pad. The principal controller is essentially a table top unit, so a thief could come in smash the unit in a quantity of seconds and that would be the finish of your safety. I wanted to hide the unit and use an further key pad to arm/disarm the unit located close to the entry. The difficulty with the secondary pad is, you can not tell if the program is armed or not, no lights etc. If I open the door, I want to know by searching at the pad if the program was armed by my wife. Otherwise you are entering a 4 digit code, plus plus 3 each time you come through the door. Also the entry delay can be set according to the book from 00-30 minutes. Sadly that is precisely what it implies, no settings for seconds. I like a program that gives you about 10-15 seconds to disarm. The minimum on this unit is 1 minute. A burglar can do a lot of damage to people today and property in 1 minute ahead of the siren sounds. I don't want a burglar in the home that lengthy without the need of sounding the alarm.
