The Defender SN502-4Ch-002 is my initial DVR system and for what it has should be my final. It shops a months worth of video and the video is surprisingly good. On a 55" television the good quality isn't significantly worse than what regular cable, employing only the coax cable, would be. The color quality is outstanding. As far as the night vision I am incredibly surprise on how nicely the night vision video. At times I just like to turn to the dvr's channel to see if the pesky neighborhood cats are around. I've see a couple of good cat fights with it, oh and you have instant replay! I hope this video helps. Make certain you get to the end to see video samples.
Let me just say that I put these systems in a lot for persons and its not a negative tiny house system. I like the capabilities that the DVR gives and it comes with everything you will require in a total package. The cameras on the other hand had been not a very good quality. Throughout sunny days the cameras get washed out with to much light so its tough to see anything from them. The IR use for the night time is better but still far from high excellent. Overall this is nevertheless a beneficial system and worth the price tag but for the reason that of the cameras only three stars from me.
